Over the last three years here at Waseley we have been very fortunate to enjoy the company of student visitors from overseas.  These students are sent to us by Study Abroad UK and usually attend for one to two terms in the Sixth Form.  The students have come to us from a diverse range of countries including America, Switzerland, Ecuador, Slovakia, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile and Italy.

We believe that our guest students bring many benefits to the sixth formers.  They can help our students to develop cultural sensitivity and insight, teaching them to accept differences, learn about someone else's beliefs, customs, education system, language and way of life. They help to broaden horizons, engage in international debate and politics but perhaps most of all, our overseas students and home students find out about how much they actually have in common, no matter where they come from.
